About me
I have recently graduated from my degree in Graphic Design from
Camberwell College of Art. I am an extremely motivated, independent thinker who will work on my own creative initiative. I am both Mac and PC literate and am confident with Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Quark X-press. I have always
taken on a proactive role in the organisation of many projects and
especially exhibitions for my degree, I am used to participating and
contributing to teamwork. I have ability to multi-task with careful
attention to detail while still working within a tight deadline.
Confident developing creative concepts from brief requirements through
to print, making use of typography, photography, colour and other
ingredients which will appropriately create innovative visual
solutions.
My current portfolio consists of work in various media such as
brightly coloured digital prints, photography, installations,
animations, and sculptural objects. I have always had a strong sense
of materials and a tactile element to my work. I have recently had work
experience with the BCC in the publishing department. By working
closely with the design team I gained experience working on projects that involved image retrieval and manipulation which included learning about copyright laws. I was given the task of working on a new line of MP3 players designing the
templates for the covers and labels. Creating artwork for the covers and getting it ready for print.
