My father gave me my first camera and what has subsequently become the love of my life,
I took up photography for my A levels, it was the first time I had really thought about photography seriously and I loved it more and more each day. Then for my year abroad I moved to South Africa and work as a teacher for eight months.
I studied at LCP in Elephant and Castle, now LCC, I worked as a fashion photography assistant and then i started an internship at The Times, a life dream From there I moved to music and had a great time photographing live music and album covers all over the world. At 27 I applied for a photography job working with a charity Keys of Change, traveling to the Peruvian Amazon, it was here I fell in love with travel/documentary photography I felt like I was doing what I loved most. I have had the fortune to stay in contact with the charity and continue to work and travel with them to wonderful places as Bosnia, Serbia, and Japan. For the past five years I have not stopped with photography, I've had the pleasure of being Hans Zimmers tour photographer, I have worked with other amazing artists such as Rudimental and Mô, I have also been to some of the most extraordinary places on the planet.
