i'm ellie wise (but you can call me ew!).
a multi-disciplinary maker of visuals, stories, and spaces.
growing up online, i was immersed in pixel fonts, minesweeper, and far too many tabs. i liked the funky stuff. my instinct is to build visual worlds that feel fresh, yet rooted in a sort of nostalgia. i'm drawn to fashion, food, objects, and the stories you tell around them. i work fast, i care a lot, and i love finding the throughline in a project... even when it's not so obvious.
i've always been drawn to medieval stuff: the drama, the ornament, the weirdness. i grew up going to the renaissance fair, and to be honest, i never really grew out of it. a blend of tech and tactility, archive and energy, kind of sums up how i think. it's all part of the same impulse: make it personal, make it strange, make it work.
