About me
I came across this job on the site and wanted to send you my stuff to have a look at, as I think I tick all the boxes for this role. Please find my CV and portfolio attached and of you would like to see more, all my work is available at */.
To tell you a little more about myself, I graduated from The London College of Communication (formerly known as LCP) in 2008 with a degree
in Graphic design for Advertising. LCC provided a unique, dynamic and industry led course, which submerged me into a competitive and boundless creative environment.
The range of work that I have undertaken since has been a direct result of the changeable, multimedia and cross-discipline arena that I graduated into. I have been keen to work across as many brands and mediums as possible and continue to be a creative mind as well as harness my design skills.
My work at iD Experiential was a very exciting environment to work in as a graduate and I had the opportunity to work on some huge FMCG Nestle brands such as Nescafe, Skinny Cow and After Eight. This was the first opportunity I had to work on fast moving live briefs and to see the full creative process from initial concept to the final build.
After this role, I moved on some online freelance jobs working at Elle UK, River Island and Secretsales.com. I also took myself back to college in the evenings to hone my digital skills that my degree and iD hadn't provided me with.
Most recently, I have been working at 42 Square as a Junior Designer working solely with my Creative Director across digital and print campaigns for brands such as Millennium Hotels, Vinopolis and Notting Hill Housing Association. Being a smaller agency, this role has given me more responsibility over my work and harnessed my design skill-set across the board and has been specifically focused on brand creation, brand guidelines and brand image.
I have since been freelancing over the summer and am looking for a solid career progression and to settle into a new permanent role. The roles description sounds like exactly what I have been looking for as and I am keen to work in a company thats focus is creating, advocating and activating beautiful brands.
I do hope you like what you see and I would love the opportunity to talk more about the role.
Kind regards,
Ellie
