About me

My name is Ellen Wright and I studied at the London College of Art Camberwell and graduated a 2 years ago in Graphic Design with an Upper 2:1. Since then i have worked at Ogilvy and Mather for about a year. Mainly in the design department called Room. I also did a placement in the creative department of Ogilvy too for a month and worked on clients such as Dove and WWF.Since leaving Ogilvy i have worked as a creative and a designer for myself and have had clients such as Ford and Duvel beers to name a few. At present i had been asked to pitch 10 ideas for the complete 360 degree campaign for the new Ford KA which i had been working on with my sister who is also a copywriter. Ford were very happy with this and have bought 4 of our ideas and we are at present awaiting to continue with the second phase of the project.With Duvell i have undertaken simular jobs and have been generating creative ambient advertising ideas for their new beer Vedett. I have also created installations for the Bar Music Hall in shoreditch which is also in association with my work for Vedett too.As well as taking on these freelance jobs i have also been working for an Animation/Illustration company called 12foot6.com and have been working on design work for the likes of V festival and Cobra.I now still currently work as a free lance designer/illustrator and do a lot of work for Tara Palmer Tomkinsons company threes a crowd designing for many gigs and celebrity parties and events. This includes me completely branding and promoting whole events throughout design. I also work closely with Essex County council and have recently successfully completed a project in branding their whole new campaign Dare to Dream which will be used within schools
