To Whom It May Concern,
I am very excited to learn about this opportunity as a creative artworker for your brand I am passionate about all things design. I would jump at the chance to work in a role that I feel suits my design skills so perfectly.
I am a recent graduate from Manchester School of Art, and for the past two months, I have been an intern on the Tablet Design team at Condé Nast, where I worked on projects including animation, producing editorial layouts and developing visual content for magazines such as Vogue, CN Traveller, Tatler and Vanity Fair. I thoroughly enjoyed pushing myself and learning new processes. The experience I have gained on my internship will benefit me greatly in this role as I have hands on experience working with both fashion and design.
Throughout University I always incorporated digital design into my projects as this is an area that I really flourish in. After graduating I was approached by multiple fashion design graduates commissioning me to create look books for them. I had the responsibility to plan my own work schedule, liaise with the fashion designers and create original branding that coincided with their work. I will bring my eclectic design skills to the company as I am always keen to look for new inspiration and ways of working.
As well as a love for graphic design I have a excellent eye for photography, art and fashion. I have strong commercial awareness and I'm able to spot emerging cultural trends. This is something that I know will benefit me in this role as I will always bring new ideas to the table. I have an adaptable skill set whether working on print or digital projects, I'm always detail orientated and well organised. I'm also proficient at using Adobe Creative Suite and I'm a very fast learner when it comes to all things digital. I am also currently teaching myself HTML to further my creative talent.
Digital and marketing lead design is something that I have a strong passion for and I feel that this role would be perfect for me as I have experience working with a world renowned fast paced design team.
