I hope you're having a lovely day, my name is Elle-Rose Williams and I'd like to apply for the Social media role you're currently hiring for. After reading the job description I think I could bring a lot of knowledge and experience to the role.

A little bit about me:

First and foremost, I've spent my entire career in online marketing and social media. It's something I surround myself with during both working hours and out of them too. During my working hours, I'm a senior social media and content manager. Having been in the industry since it's take-off - I don't shy away from how wide the responsibilities in this kind of social media role can be and I have proved my skills in previous positions - increasing traffic, website views, social followings and website efficiency.

I drive my team forwards, encouraging them to learn about every aspect of digital marketing - to make our social campaigns more contextual, more relevant and more innovative. I have had a balance of agency and in-house roles, and have in-depth knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, social management tools and complex CMS - knowledge which is needed when bringing innovation to any kind of digital team.

As an avid blogger and Editor in my free time I have been shortlisted as the Top UK Travel Blogger by Cosmopolitan Magazine, and I am Editor in Chief of online publication Plus Magazine - an online resource I created for plus-size women. I am also a freelance writer in my spare time for publications such as The Huffington Post and Inspired Bride Magazine.
