About me
If you've ever been to a mall in Canada, you've seen work by Ellana Blacher. The poet-turned-copywriter has been the sole story writer behind 20 national fashion campaigns (including the introduction of the Karl Lagerfeld Paris brand), written bespoke poems for clients including the Jennifer Lopez team, completed three national brand personality redesigns with double-digit growth results, online, video and movie advertisements, and storyboarded and written fashion brochures with a distribution of five hundred and ninety-five thousand to-date.
With a varied background including awards for both poetry and formal public speaking, stints writing at two rap record companies, two turns as a Social-Psychology researcher at McGill University resulting in two academic publications, and a short film showcased at the Cannes International Film Festival 2019, it's no wonder she's been trusted as the copywriter behind advertisements for products by Versace, Prada, Hugo Boss, GUESS, Coach, Céline, Cartier, Marc Jacobs and Hermès.
Available for Creative Consulting services including copywriting, brand positioning, character building, and story editing for both short-and-long form writing pieces including stage, commercial and film scripts. References available on request.
