About me
Archaeological illustration is a specialised and unusal niche to have been working in for the last three years. I am now looking to move out of the highly academically focused sphere of archaeology and develop my graphic skills in a commercial environment. My drawings range from maps and digitised site records to detailed scaled illustrations of artefacts as well as web design and maintenance, marketing and educational / outreach materials. Graphics software used includes CS2 (including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop), Dreamweaver, The GIMP, AutoCAD and Sketchup. I am currently learning about CMS in particular Joomla. Although I am a graduate (MA (Hons) Edin 2001) due to the nature of archaeology most of my graphics skills are self taught, therefore I am seeking a junior to middleweight role.
