About me

I am a post-graduate illustration student of the Arts Institute at Bournemouth. During my degree, I gained skills in traditional and digital book-binding (using Adobe InDesign), print work and basic animation and web design, as well as furthering my ability to draw freehand. I frequently use Adobe Photoshop in my work to compose and/or finalise an image made up of predominately hand-drawn work. I composed my own website using Flash and Dreamweaver, which holds my current portfolio. I also became competent in the use of Apple Mac Computers.

In my spare time in between university studies, I signed up to extra life-drawing classes, which I found invaluable to maintain a level of draftsmanship. Traditional drawing techniques are some of my strengths within art and design.

My other passion is for music - I have been a regular follower of various music festivals and concert performance. For five years I received private music lessons and was a member of Dover Youth Wind Orchestra, with which I toured locally and as far as the Czech Republic and Poland.

Having lived and worked in several areas of the UK and abroad, I consider myself to be adaptable to new situations, and am not overwhelmed by change.
