About me

Dear Sir/Madam

I am a self-motivated, enthusiastic and creative BA (Hons) fashion/textile graduate; I have completed a work placement at The Reformation in New York (Fashion label and supplier to Urban Outfitters and ASOS as well as other international stores). During this internship I was able to make a big contribution in fabric and accessories sourcing, professionally visiting manufactures, pattern cutting, designing and forecasting. I have skills in Adobe applications such as; InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and really enjoy designing new garment concepts as well having a love for digital print design. I am motivated, adaptable, responsible and hard working, with excellent communication and organizational skills. I believe I have the creative ability and knowledge to work for you. I have always enjoyed designing in a new, unique way. I believe I could be a valuable, creative team member, working with you to create on trend, exiting garments.

Sector Experience

Intern - The Reformation, New York, Tasks included sourcing fabrics and trims, altering, correcting and copying patterns, garment design research on forecasting websites, communicating and visiting manufactures in a professional manner, cutting sample garments, sourcing accessories., Fuze, Bristol., Working as part of a team to create two looks for a charity fashion event named Fuze. Tasks included designing and making garments as well as digital print design. This task gave me experience in working backstage at a professional catwalk show, as well as designing garments with a set professional breif.
