About me

Today I work as an art teacher at an high-school. It´s great fun to work with the students. The students teach me almost as much as I teach them. My background is 5 years in a main newspaper Dagbadet (Norway,Oslo) as a graphic designer + illustrator. Several jobs in advertising doing all sort of things which was interesting.

Am a free artist today. Painting-graphic work-sculpture and am doing well. Other artists more famous than myself, buy my work. But "born and raised" as a graphic designer I just can´t ignore the internet. Homepages on the net are a noisy experience to look at. It ought to be an experience one wants to go back to, like an art exhibition. Text-photo-illustration is all part of the same picture and this it should be on each page. I love layout! Good layout is an art-form.

I know how and I would like to teach You how to use your skills, your eyes to see. I am an old girl and my eyes are getting better and better. Typography is

a skill I know better than most. Kerning is not new to me. Kerning is a part of it all,

to make a perfect picture.

It is all very simple, when you know how.

Knowledge is never difficult, it is to get the knowledge that is hard. When you have it everything is just fun!

I will never stop searching for more knowledge and this is why I would like to work in a team and abroad.
