About me

The following letter outlines my qualifications and experience with a brief explanation of why I'd be a first choice for vacancies within your company. I have 6 years of commercial experience as a graphic designer/creative artworker, both in London and Stockholm, and I have a degree in Art Direction.

I've worked on several magazine and catalogue productions, both digital and print, and am therefore confident and experienced with working in different layout templates required by the multimedia industry.

I have excellent experience of juggling different projects whilst prioritising, meeting deadlines and working in a fast turn-around environment. I am fully capable meeting the client's requirements from the initial point of contact, through to the finished project, and used to flexible work styles ranging from freelance to contracts. I'm comfortable in taking on the role of leadership and also work perfectly as a part of a team.

In my spare time I have organised, promote (including designing flyers and other promotional material) and DJ at many events and regular club nights in London and in Sweden. This experience and skills have armed me with great competence and confidence, which gives me an advantage in my professional working life as a designer. It has also helped me to achieve my goal under high pressure.

I am currently working as a graphic designer on a freelance basis and am looking for a more permanent role or a part-time position to suit my current situation.
