About me
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am Elia Maniscalco, a recently graduated designer with honours. I've studied as a designer:
part of my job consisted in persuading people about the value of my projects. I think that the
better we communicate the better we will succeed in our communication. It happens very
often that the solution of a problem is right behind the corner, hidden by the wrong attitude
toward it. I've a dialogic approach to arguments as I believe in the power of words: they can
change one's point of view and thus one's whole world.
Being a design student I had to develop a lot of projects as a part of a team: working in team
needs a different kind of thinking as what is required is to get a sense of awareness about
the importance of our actions in a wider point of view, since the actions of the single affect
the results of the team. I got a natural approach to team leading, sharing of abilities, and
analytic sight together with a great sense of duty and respect for hierarchies.
I've worked in a restaurant and I was the only waiter, so I had full responsibility both of
customer caring and table service. Almost everynight I had to deal with lots of customers at
a time, bringing to the extreme the concept of multitasking: taking orders, delivering food,
caring and supervising from the first contact up to the final billing. I have a natural attitude
to multitasking and I can deal with pressure thanks to a highly logic approach to problem
solving.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Elia Maniscalco
