About me
I am a Surface Pattern Design graduate from Staffordshire University, having graduated last summer. I have been trained to produce designs for use on many different products, including interior decoration, gift ware, homeware and fashion. I have a broad range of production skills and I like to mix techniques together to create designs with many layers and textures, for example, mixing digitally manipulated drawings with stitch, painting and collage.
I have a flair for colour, spotting trends and discovering new practices and techniques. I am eager to learn and I pick up new skills quickly, keen to put them into practice.
If you were to employ me I would be a friendly member of the staff, a hard working member of the team and a good communicator. I work in an organised manner, aware of deadlines, and cope well under pressure. I have excellent computer skills, including Photoshop and some knowledge of Illustrator.
