About me
My aim is to gain enough experience to become a professional graphic designer. I have recently completed a National Diploma course in Graphic Design at Hull College. I have applied to do a three-year degree course at Hull School of Art and Design, and I have successfully gained myself a place there having passed my previous course with a triple grade Distinction Distinction Merit. I have recently had a piece of my work, which was in the style of my favourite designer, Peter Anderson, exhibited at Hull University, Middleton Hall. I am very keen to learn more about different that can be used and also have yet to find out what it is really like in the graphic work base environment. I have my own Apple Mac computer at home that has given me a lot more experience and confidence with the up to date software and has also given me chance to improve my college work at home in my own time.
In my spare time I enjoy experimenting with different effects on Illustrator and Photoshop, finding new ways to create my own ideas. I generally like making quick illustrations and small experiments that I think maybe useful for future projects. Listening to music I think sometimes helps me with ideas. I also do regular workouts at the gym and I enjoy socialising with my friends from college and work. I passed my driving test in July and love driving as it gives me a lot more freedom and the ability to work flexible hours and further distances.
