About me
My name's Edward Thomas Burke and I have just finished studying Media Studies - Television Production at The University of Westminster. I have gained many skills from University and the rest of my life, such as the ability to work in a team, and individually thanks to working in groups at Uni. This included being diplomatic, accommodating, developing each others ideas, and being able to work on your own when the times came and the ability to problem solve, thanks to being without much teacher supervision at university.
I have worked at a variety of jobs during my degree at University. My main job was editor. We used Final Cut Pro and I edited a variety of different types of programming, including Programme inserts, documentaries, dramas and studio shows. Some of the other jobs I did was Sound, where I manned the mixing desk and operated location sound and general assistant.
At university I was also involved in the student radio station Smoke Radio. I presented a weekly radio show. Plus for special events I shot and edited a five to ten minute video podcast of the highlights of the event.
