Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing to apply for the Junior Graphic Design role that you are advertising. I recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a 2:1 BA (Hons) Graphic Design degree. During university my main focus was on print based media, although I am a quick learner and I am very motivated to teach myself to improve my skills. This position is ideal for me, as it is a chance for me to experience more live briefs and extend my knowledge and skills even further. As you will see from my portfolio, I have produced a variety of work and I have a good range of skills, which I developed by pushing myself to try things that did not come so naturally to me. This is why I believe I am a good candidate for this position, I am versitile and will apply myself to any brief I am given.
