About me
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to apply for the '2D/3D Animators' job advertised on creativepool. I would like to be considered as I have experience working in a professional TV production company at Ginx TV for over a year. Whilst working there, I had to edit (in Final Cut Pro 7) as part of a team of video editors, and produce short video segments for them (see the attached CV for examples). I have developed excellent time management skills, as every segment had to be finished within a very short and set timescale. I also have good communication skills, developed whilst liaising with different departments at Ginx.
I have recently designed and animated motion graphics for Premier League Productions. The animation, broadcast as part of their Match Pack show, analyses an upcoming football game and the two opposing teams. The animation created was a 2D motion graphics piece designed and animated in Adobe's After Effects.
I have a great passion for motion graphics, and years learning and animating with After Effects, and as such, I think I would fit this role perfectly. I've worked with most Adobe Creative Suite apps, including Premier Pro, Illustrator and Photoshop. I've used 3ds max for a number of years for various purposes, and at the moment I'm learning Cinema 4D as well.
