About me

Hello, I'm Ed King. I'm a graphic design graduate with a
years industry experience & looking to get my hands dirty working
in foggy London town...

I graduated in July 2009 with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design. Since
then I've interned at an agency in Kent, worked freelance for a
couple private clients as well as a London agency. That said I've
spent most of my time working in-house for the UK arm of SNCF / TGV on
a large web redesign project.

Since finishing this project I am looking to move into an agency or
to a magazine publisher where there is a broad range of work. I'd
like to be in a place where I can learn from other designers as well as
getting to grips with new experiences & challenges.

My attitude toward design and more broadly life in general is
positive, enthusiastic and always proactive. If a problem crops up, I
won't dwell on it or worry about how it's cocked things up.
But immediately what I can do, what the next move is. If I had to sum
up my work ethic in one word if fact, it would be ‘Do'.
Keep doing and you'll always get to where you want to be.

I'm energetic, organised, creative, quick to learn, open to
criticism, thick skinned and want to be the best I can be. I'm a
sociable creature and enjoy working, talking and generally getting on
with people.
