About me
I am a graphic designer based in London, currently working for the Penguin Group at publisher Dorling Kindersley.
My training was in typography and information design at the London College of Communication (formerly LCP), where I gained entry into the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) with a Commended - the highest available grade - and graduated with Distinction.
As project art editor for DK Knowledge I am responsible for overseeing book projects from template design through to the final printed product; my role covers all aspects of spread and jacket layout - including preparing jackets for final print with finishes from spot uv and embossing to metal foil - as well as commissioning illustration and directing photo-shoots.
I am proficient in the Adobe CS suite; other skills include typography and digital photography.
