About me
For the past year I have worked as a brand ambassador for fashion and lifestyle brand JEMIMASARA. This role involved me talking to buyers at trade shows such as the Spring Fair at the NEC in Birmingham and to customers at pop up shops providing an informative knowledge of the brand in a friendly and engaging manner to essentially gain a sale.
I am a freelance storyteller with 4 years experience. I have performed to schools in and out of the UK as well as children's festivals and libraries. My sessions help schools and libraries promote reading, new books and their reading weeks.
My background in storytelling has helped me identify what a good book is, how to market it and how to sell it to the exact target audience.
My experience has given me a practical knowledge of what a good book is and what children of all ages enjoy. I believe that this kind of knowledge will be of great use in a children's publishing house in a storyboard or editorial role.
