. I am a British publishing professional with broad, varied experience in the publishing of magazines, newsletters and books.

As editorial manager at Intouch Publications, I have experience in producing a monthly magazine (distribution 40,000) and a weekly newspaper (distribution 30,000). In addition to this I was responsible for managing accounts for various other publication projects such as books and tour guides.

I have a great deal of experience in all editorial duties, including editing and writing copy, working with the design and marketing departments and commissioning articles. This role has not only given me the ability to work effectively to tight, regular deadlines, but also the skill to manage and budget an editorial department.

In my position as Web Editor for Intouchzhejiang.com, I was responsible for writing feature articles, managing content and link submissions, and writing and sending a weekly email newsletter to subscribers.

I am also perfectly at home using such design tools as Quark XPress and Adobe InDesign, and have written extensively on a freelance basis. I am completely fluent in both written and oral mandarin Chinese.
