Douglas is responsible for the overall direction, raising investments and the general development of the company. He was the owner of the Different Communication advertising agency for 10 years where he attended major accounts such as Estée Lauder Group, Clinique, MAC Cosmetics and TOTVS Institute of Social Opportunity. He has a degree in Advertising.

Douglas was nominated for the Success Entrepreneur Award from PEGN Ed. Globo in 2012 and also the Spark Awards Microsoft award as founder of Stayfilm in 2014. The company was Interoperability Case by Microsoft and got placed in the 100 most innovative companies at Web Summit 2014 in Ireland. The company also won the Innovation Futurecom 2014 award and the Nokia AppCampus award. The Stayfilm app got featured in the Apple Store for 5 consecutive weeks worldwide. It got worldwide relevance being featured in more than 150 press vehicles worldwide.
