About me
I'm a web designer and developer with over 18 years' experience, both in agencies and as a freelancer, working face-to-face with clients, in agile environments and remotely. My clients have included many of the most recognisable brands in the UK and worldwide, including the BBC, Hewlett-Packard and Rolls-Royce.
Although I began as a designer, I quickly took to the development side of website creation and would now describe my strengths as heavyweight in design and frontend development, and middleweight in backend development. I am very familiar with applications such as Flash, Captivate, Dreamweaver, PhotoShop, PowerPoint, etc, I can code HTML, CSS, PHP, JSP, SQL, Javascript/jQuery and SCORM by hand, have written templates for Wordpress and have very strong skills in accessibility. I have also designed and created a number of Google Sites.
I'm looking for contract work within a 30 miles of Reading or around central London, and am also very well set up for woking remotely.
