Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing in response to the advert on your website, and would like to offer my services as a creative, proactive, and highly organised individual who works well independently and as part of team.

As you will see from my CV, I come from a creative background, initially training as a graphic designer (specialising in typography) and then gaining experience in the fast paced environments of high profile design companies such as Empire Design, Stylorouge, Forme Design Print and Interbrand. My time at Apple has also afforded me the opportunity to become highly technically skilled and proficient in a variety of software packages, including InDesign, Illustrator, Flash and Photoshop.

Whilst the bulk of my previous work has been client focussed identity, branding and stationery design, I am keen to expand and cement my knowledge of graphic design. As a graphic designer I love creating expressive work that not only answers questions and solves specific problems, but also does this in a way that keeps things clean, simple and pleasing to the eye.
