About me
Having given up on his childhood dream of being a palaeontologist, Donevan stumbled upon the world of advertising as a copywriter.
In his career of 25 years, he has helped an array of global and local brands create work of proven effectiveness and creativity across various digital and classic channels. His portfolio includes Nestle, Unilever, Reckitt, Fonterra, Domino's, Libresse and Campbell's to name a few.
Donevan has won over 190 awards and shortlists from an array of advertising award shows across the globe, From Cannes Lions, the Clio Awards, the One Show, D&AD, Spikes Asia (including a Grand Prix & Malaysian Agency of the Year 2022), Adfest (including Independent Agency of the Year 2022) and MAD Stars to the Malaysian Kancil Awards.
He has been on the jury of the Cannes Lions, LIA Awards, One Show, New York Festivals, ONEAsia Awards, Spikes Asia, and MAD Stars (Korea).
He also gives back to the industry as a mentor to young creatives in the London International Advertising Creative LIAison mentorship programme since 2021.
