About me

I am 24 years old and studied Media Production for three years at De Montfort University, culminating in me graduating with a 2:1 degree. During my three years I completed a range of projects using a cariety of different programmes. Examples would be Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic designs, Adobe Flash for animation and Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Encore for video production. Personally I enjoyed the modules that involved Photoshop and Illustrator best. I liked being able to manipulate images and in doing so I was able make unique products. I think I will be an excellent candidate for the role that you are advertising. I have a good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and have made numerous designs for university assignments from a montage to DVD covers. I am a quick learner so anything that I am not up to speed with I am confident I can understand the software quickly. I feel that I am good with people and with the communication skills I have managed to adopt over time I am easy to get along and work with. I can work well as part of a team or individually if that is what the task at hand requires. I also feel that I am able to use my initiative well in situations if I am required to do so. In my previous job at The Co-operative amongst other things, I have been able to develop my customer relations skills. Having to provide them a service whether it be on the shop floor or when serving at the till I enjoyed the interaction. Working as part of a team here and the customer service skills developed along with my likeable persona would help me to work well as a team. I am confident, reliable, trustworthy, organized and also have brilliant timekeeping skills and exemplary attendance records at past jobs. I am ambitious, hungry and highly motivated to succeed. I have a very competitive mentality therefore I feel that I will regularly be able to achieve targets that have been set. I am very excited by the role and believe I could make an immediate effective contribution. I believe my knowledge of the software used to create graphics and create video sequences, combined with my customer service skills would be a great addition to your team.
