Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to enquire whether you have any vacancies for a Senior Graphic Designer on your staff.

As you will see from my enclosed CV, I have more than ten years' experience working within the graphic design domain, primarily for well-known, successful magazines. I have experience working at each stage of the layout process, from the very creation of the magazine to the final stages of its publication. I have extensive experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite and have indeed been responsible for training users on Indesign.

I have until recently been employed managing a team of five graphic designers for a newly-launched weekly women's magazine in Paris.

I therefore believe that I have the qualifications and knowledge required to successfully work on any internal or external communication material, whether it be in French or English, and would welcome the opportunity to work for a dynamic young brand name.

I would relish the opportunity to live and work in the UK where I believe there are many challenges and opportunities for people in my field. I believe that

this post would be an exciting new challenge for me in a country that I am eager to discover.
