About me
I am a MA photography graduate. I have recently come back from travelling around the world, where I relished many new challenges and adapted to my new environments easily. I have experience as a photographer within a charity, which required me to travel to Malawi and work with a journalist on a body of work. My communication skills are well developed, I can communicate with CEO's through to chilli pepper producers. I like working with people but I am also independently motivated. I have experience within advertising companies, where I have worked as an in-house photographer and shadowed the creatives.
My most recent job was abroad as an assistant office manager/receptionist with a media company in Sydney. My role included organising office supplies, meeting and greeting of clients and reps, mailroom, presentation support, diary managment, co-ordination of internal email and other admin duties.
Prior to this I have worked as a Syposium assistant project manager, helping to organise a new £1 million EU funded phtography research network. My duties were many and varied, from liaising with delegates, artists and advertisers to working oin the layout of advertising material, both print and web based.
I am knowledgable in Photoshop, Excel and Word. I also have a strong background in analogue and digital cameras, picture composition, colour and lighting.
