About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

This year I have interned at Poke New York. At Poke I have learned more about strategy strategy, creative, business, design, technology and development backgrounds. I am interested in solving brand, marketing cases, and business problems by envisioning and deploying unique digital and social innovation by using strategy. With this experience and interest in strategy, I believe there would be a good fit between my skills and interest and your client needs.

My work background and coursework have supplied me with many skills and an understanding of Creative/Design Thinking and a strong business background; for example:

- I have had courses at The Hague University (the Netherlands) in Integrated Marketing Communication, Branding, Persuasive Communication, Sociolinguistics and Marketing as well as Business Organization and Management, Global Economics, and Financial Planning. I am fluent in both English and Dutch. My minor in Digital Media further enhanced my communication degree, by giving my communication program a direct focus on marketing communication.

- Also, I have gained hands on experience at Poke New York in developing with an Arduino, Photoshop, HTML, CSS, CSS3, basic JQuery, and a basic understanding of Kinect development. With this experience I would like to specialize in strategy by creating digital experiences that utilize custom devices to bridge the gap between the social space and the real world.
