About me
Every role I have had to date has seen me specialise in communications. I have always been a confident communicator, particularly in writing so I have always naturally gravitated towards being a representative for the business. Presently, I contribute articles to Medium and Huffington Post UK, picking up on relevant industry chatter and finding an interesting angle to write about.
Event management has been prevalent in every role I have undertaken. It's a natural layer of my strengths and I have a keen passion for it. I have a particular talent for producing polished results no matter what resources or budget I have to work with. I've worked with very little and I've worked with quite a lot but the thought process is always to produce work to the highest possible standards.
I have implemented and executed a variety of PR initiatives, for instance, in my contract with the Ice Rink Canary Wharf I masterminded the 'Longest Conga on Ice' in which we broke the Guinness World Record, personally coordinating with BBC Children in Need and raising thousands of pounds. It also generated more PR coverage than the opening of the ice rink itself.
I am meticulous with my planning so my roles have always gravitated towards managing people (clients, franchisees, journalists) and events that bring them together (International product launches, incentive trips, photoshoots, PR events).
