About me

I am a London-based digital designer and animator who specialises in projects for mobile, television and the web.

I have over 10 years work experience, initially as a traditional animator using pencil and paper, and then digitally. My previous work has involved producing animation for television series for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Disney.

Keen to advance my knowledge for today's digital industry I completed an MA in Interactive Media in 2011. This provided the opportunity to gain skills in user centric design, user experience and interface design, wireframes, paper and digital prototyping, user testing and project management for web and mobile products.

Currently I am working as a digital designer on the new animated series of Mr. Bean which has already premiered on CITV and is due to be shown worldwide later in the year. Other recent projects include an interactive app to support the John Lewis 'Bear and Hare' Christmas campaign and a series of films for the British Heart Foundation encouraging children to lead an active healthy lifestyle.

My traditional artistic background has given me the ability to clearly conceptualise and illustrate ideas to others. Whilst my digital knowledge and experience allow me to develop these ideas from initial rough sketches into polished final products.

I am passionate about creating great digital experiences and relish the challenge of combining functionality with visual appeal and intuitive interaction in the most effective and engaging way.
