About me

I am 20 years old and I will be finishing my two year photography
course at Nait in April 2011. After school I am looking for
unforgettable opportunities and working in the UK is something I have
wanted to even before I knew I wanted to be a photographer.

I applied for Nait's Photographic Technology program with
little knowledge on what being a photographer held. In my first year
alone I feel that I have grown so much as a person but more importantly
as a photographer. Throughout my first year I really pushed myself to
be the best. I can not imagine where I will be in a year after my
second year at Nait.

I feel that I have learned and grown so much in my first year, that
when school is over I do not want the learning to stop. I noticed that
the summer after first year, I was bored because I wasn't learning
anything about photography, and I had no challenges. I was constantly
planning photoshoots and trying to learn new techniques.

I have noticed that with my friends who have already graduated from
Nait's photography program are not photographing at all, the job
market is just so competive.

I will not be one of those graduates, I want to be prepared and
I want to have the constant journey and the challenges of photography
when I graduate college.

With that said I am extremely picky about my work, and will only
display photographs that took a lot of sweat and tears to photograph
and photoshop. I am extremely eager to be in this business, already I
have been trying to get my name out here in Edmonton, again very
competive. I have been going to workshops and PPOC,CAPIC meetings as
much as I can to meet photographers and stand out from the rest.

I would like to meet photographers in the UK and I would love to go
there and work with them.

Please if you want to know more feel free to contact me, you
won't be disappointed!
