Dear Hiring Manager,

I would like to apply for this position and believe I have the relevant experience and skills required for it.

I have approximately 4 years of commercial experience working as a Web & Graphic Designer. I have a great eye for detail and can design websites from scratch using Photoshop & Dreamweaver, but also have excellent skills in Illustrator and InDesign. I hand code using HTML/XHTML, CSS, PHP and MYSQL. I also have an understanding of Javascript, JQuery and Ajax. I am a great marketeer and have extensive knowledge on SEO and social networking.

In 2005, I passed a Business ICT course and in 2008, I received a distinction for an Advanced Web Design level 3 course. I'm very creative in a lot of ways and constantly strive to better myself and my knowledge of design and the web.
