We’re delighted to be partnering with Transport for London (TfL) once again this September as part of ‘Transported by Design’ – a series of events and collaborations which celebrates TfL’s unique design heritage.
The Wooden Underground Station
Take a tour around Camilla Barnard’s life-size wooden tube station complete with platform, ticket hall and barriers. The station, which is completely hand-drawn by sculptor and illustrator Camilla Barnard, will showcase TfL’s most recent licensed collections from Mini Moderns, Michelle Mason, Blue Marmalade, Alice Made This, Swoon Editions and Homes & Gardens award winner Lindsay Lang. Many of the new designs have been manufactured in enamel by the vitreous enamellers AJ Wells. Expect to see everything from furniture and tableware to cushions and cufflinks.

The PICK Restaurant & Bar
The next stop on your TfL journery is PICK Restaurant & Bar, a very British pop-up from the East London Liquor Company. On the menu: bespoke rum and gin based cocktails and hearty British food with a modern twist. PICK will be the launch-pad for a brand new rum from the East London Liquor Company. The pop-up will also showcase enamel tables designed by AJ Wells, Formica tabletops by Lindsey Lang, lighting by Blue Marmalade and fabric designs by Michelle Mason for Swoon Editions. The space will be beautifully styled by designjunction’s Michael Sodeau.

Night Tube Oyster card holders
In celebration of the exciting launch of the 24 hour tube service on Friday and Saturday nights, TfL have teamed up with critically-acclaimed designjunction exhibitor Outline Editions - who work with the very best graphic designers and illustrative talent - to design a stunning new range of oyster-card holders which will be available to buy from the show.
