Cubitt House: A super façade

Published

Cubitt House is set to be the leading destination at this year's London Design Festival with a visually striking super structure entrance, a secret garden and 100s of world-class brands.

Look out for a super façade at the entrance to Cubitt House, where the show’s leading furniture, lighting and accessories brands will be housed.

Designed by leading architectural firm Satellite Architects alongside Icons of Denmark, the structure will be a spectacular 70m long by 7m high façade featuring more than 4,000 modular GRID cubes by Danish designer Peter J. Lassen. This impressive structure will be the world's largest installation of GRID made possible by structural engineers Elliot Wood. The façade will be suspended over a scaffold framework constructed by award-winning London design and build company Oktra.

This show stopping immersive structure will be the largest installation of GRID in the world.

Hidden at the back of Cubitt House will be a secret champagne garden. The space will be furnished with Deadgood’s brand new Naked collection by Magnus Long and Gala Wright alongside a vast array of stunning flowers and plants.

The brands at Cubitt House will be second to none, with Another Country, Brokis, Haberdashery, Icons of Demark, Morgan Furniture, RUBN, Modus, TON, Vitamin and more confirmed in the line-up. Lightjunction – an area dedicated to decorative lighting – will be presented on the ground floor, whilst the top level, which will boast floor to ceiling windows through-out, will play home to some of the world's most renowned furniture brands.
