About me
I've always been drawn to aesthetics which has been exhibited through practical or artistic expression. My educational focus aligned with these natural interests which initally lead to a practical metalsmithing degree. Through various experiences that followed I discoverd a joy of digital creativity and embarked on a graphic design course to increase skills and knowledge. I excelled with distinction and eagerly sought further experience, securing an internship, and shortly after, a full time position.
I've since been working in the creative field for ten years and am so thankful to have found my vocation. I particularly love artworking, typography, and image editing. In agency and freelance roles I've produced print, digital, and motion graphic creative for consumer, business, and corporate spheres, generating concepts and delivering exacting artwork for a variety of platforms and media. I always consider best solutions and alternative approaches to achieve a beautiful and cohesive visual journey and pay meticulous attention to detail. I've generated concepts from scratch and worked in-line with brand guidelines, bringing unity to collateral. I am adept at seeing designs through from brief to final delivery and have an in-depth understanding of responsive design and UI/UX principles as well as excellent artworking capabilities and a thorough understanding of print processes and techniques.
I thrive under pressure, working well independently as much as with others and can confidently handle multiple projects concurrently with an extremely organised and efficient approach. I enjoy supporting and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders, building positive relationships, and ensuring all tasks run to schedule and budgets and consistently communicating in a clear and constructive manner.
I'm always keen to pursue ideas and interests, pushing past any fears and challenging my own status quo. This approach has lead to amazing encounters and fulfilling experiences in work and personal life. I'm a true-hearted individual, keen to support those around me and am always looking to grow skills, be inspired and increase knowledge.
