About me

I began my career as part of a team of Pre-PressArtworkers in an Apple Mac Studio for a Printers where I gained vast experience of the industry through demonstrating an eye for detail and manipulating digital files ready for output. Seeking a more creative role, I became sole Graphic Designer for a company in Milton Keynes. Projects I managed in a consistent house style included creating brands and logos, adverts, flyers, leaflets, packaging and anything where a creative flair is essential. Primarily taking verbal instructions and rough sketches from busy Account Managers, I produced full colour proofs quickly and accurately which were always well received. Building up a rapport with external printers in the UK and Far East, I was able to use my knowledge of providing 'print-friendly' files that ensured an accurate and fast turnaround.

Of course I am skilled in all the usual Adobe programs and work predominately with Illustrator and Photoshop and have designed a multi-page catalogue using Adobe InDesign. I am fully experienced in Mac OS X plus I also possess trouble shooting skills as well as my creative expertise. I am happy to show you my portfolio. I thrive within a fast and exciting environment on a broad range of projects. I have a lot of innovative and fresh ideas whilst keeping track of all the latest trends. I consider myself to be talented, enthusiastic, cheerful and hard working. I have a strong sense of humour and possess the ability to mix well with others.
