About me

I have been focusing on my art, by characterising and exploring in depth detail through graphical styles, composition and vibrant colour. I have exhibited several times and the likes of Paul Weller and one of the Bestival organisers are now proud owners of my original works.

My background in design after finalising a BA in Australia (1998), I worked for several companies working with clients such as Mercedes, Telepgraph, Azuli records and others. My style is very fun, humorous, eye catching and has a great depth of detail and precision

I have a good knowledge in Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign and I have some knowledge in HTML programs such as Dreamweaver. During my years as a designer I directed briefs, art directed shoots, been involved with meeting clients and worked effectively within timeframes.

I want to learn more skills and build up my knowledge, particularly within the web and animation areas, I am an exceptionally quick learner, and I am willing take the steps to be part of the creative industry.

At this point in my career, which has been vast including, directing, design, illustration, lecturing, marketing and management. I believe I have the right attitude and positive energy that can benefit any design company. I am organised, adaptable and I understand the professionalism and communication required for long term success.

Skills

Being a creative I grasp ideas really well. I often think outside the box which can certainly add a twist to any design or concept. I have a variety of skills as I stated in my introduction, I am highly creative, professional, personable and approachable. I understand all spectrums of design, I communicate well, and I manage time effectively., An excellent eye for detail, with a vast range of drawing skills in what ever medium or style I have the ability to adapt my style to suit the design and the market place., Although my strengths in my hand rendering, I have a great knowledge of programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver, these programs are essential to my work and gives me great freedom to put my creations into a vector format for final artwork whether it be on packaging, clothing, publishing, and character design.
