If you're looking for a skilled, friendly proofreader and editor with experience, I'm here to help. I understand the need to find an honest, conscientious editor, a person who will give your manuscript, book, blog or website the same level of care and attention that you have given it.
I'm a qualified proofreader who graduated from the Proofread Anywhere course. Since then, I have had experience working with content of all types, including fiction, non-fiction and web content.
I'm a Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) and abide by the guidelines set out in their charter.

I'll begin by gathering your full requirements to ensure I deliver exactly what you need.
I will continue to communicate with you throughout our project and will deliver high-quality work on time, with full track changes and comments on reasons for suggested changes where needed. You are in control the whole time and do not have to accept all/any of my suggestions!
I always carefully read through text at least twice to ensure I capture as many issues as possible.
I will produce a style sheet, unique to your project, that details style decisions made (including grammar, spelling and punctuation). If you are a fiction writer, the style sheet will also include a descriptive list of characters, locations and the timeline of your book. This document will ensure consistency.
My rates strongly reflect the effort I will put into your project and the high quality of work I will produce. It takes time to carefully check copy for errors, flow, consistency and style standards; this type of work shouldn't be rushed. Don't pay low rates for editing; it equates to throwing money away as your copy will still be full of errors.
