About me

Currently, I work for Europe's largest lesbian, gay, bi and trans equality charity Stonewall. It is primarily a lobbying organisation aimed at changing government policies but also changing attitudes and behaviour within schools and workplaces. In this visual communications role, I create reports and manifestoes, marketing materials, branding for events including all event collateral, print and digital advertisements, toolkits and guides to encourage inclusion of LGBT people in various sectors of society, infographics, data visualisations and social media sharing graphics, and lots more. We also host fundraising events and conferences which all require a unique and creative spin on the brand to be more exciting and increase attendance.

From 2013 to 2016, I ran my own creative agency, providing creative solutions to a wide range of clients in various industries. It required me to lead a small team and continually employ a self-starting attitude to which I continue to use today. The biggest lesson I learned from running my own business was to be bold and continuously push myself to try new challenges and ideas that were out of my comfort zone.

I have worked within design studios for over 10 years now. During this time, I have become accustomed to working to pressurised deadlines, balancing many projects at the same time and communicating diplomatically to all staff at all levels. Design is also a hobby and interest of mine and I spend a lot of my spare time keeping up with current trends and innovations in design.

I am an enthusiastic, outgoing and hard-working employee who is looking for new, exciting role where I can really utilise my knowledge and experience of creative communications to make a positive impact within an organisation.
