About me

I am a music PR with 3 years experience, and a graduate of the University Of Central Lancashire with a BA (Hons) in Film & Media Studies, achieving a 2:1 class degree in 2004.

The course required excellent critical writing skills and in addition I undertook several journalism modules providing me with training in the fundamentals of journalistic writing, at which I excelled.

In my career as a publicist my talent for prose has been extremely useful in writing biographies and press releases for several different projects, and in addition my work in promoting my own DJ nights has provided me with more experience in putting together copy for promotional materials. After three years I feel I have more to offer in terms of these writing skills and creativity than I am currently able to demonstrate in music PR and am looking for a career in a field more suitable for these. I consider myself a flexible and highly ambitious person, with much to offer any company that takes me on. I get huge satisfaction from writing, and consider myself able to write interestingly on a wide variety of subjects.
