I am interested in applying for the position of Designer/Illustrator in your company. Recently I graduated from BA (Hons) Textile and Surface Design at Grays School of Art, The Robert Gordon University, and Aberdeen.

The job you have advertised is the ideal position that I have been looking for. The qualities and skills I have acquired I feel would be perfect for this vacancy. I am highly motivated and my creative drive fuels my boundless imagination. My Photoshop skills are strong and a key element for this job. I have great eye for colour. Through my textile course I have gained experience and found I had an aptitude for predicting new trends. I have insight into the way trends work and what goes well together. Drawing has been life time passion. My drawing skills and acute awareness of shapes and lines help me in drawing anything from still life to magazines and book illustrations which I have gained from university and college.

I feel I am an ideal candidate for this position as I will bring with me my fresh ideas and excellent skills. Although I am self motivated I enjoy working as part of a team. I have a flexible approach towards work and value the contributions hard work brings to an organisation like yours. The importance of time keeping and working to tight deadlines are instilled in me. I am hard working and a good time keeper and fortunate to have good health.
