About me

My name is Dayashini, I'm based in north London. I've been creating and producing

videos and animations for roughly 9 years. Within my degree I fell in love with

Animation and since then I've tried out a variety of mediums, such as, cut-out

animation, stop motion, plasticine, vector etc. The list can go on.

I'm more drawn to traditional 2D animation - hand drawn. I like the old classic

animation by Hanna and Barbara as well as stop-motion. Both these mediums

personally speak louder than other mediums. I like the fact it doesn't need to look

clean and polished but the realism of the animation takes draws you in.

In the last 2 years I've been working in a financial company a different kind of

medium altogether. I oversee all video recordings and produce and project manage

client projects. Through my job I've discovered I like to be part of the teaching

process; finding ways of enhancing and improving the way e-learning videos are

produced - making them more engaging.

I love working with people - I think its vital to continuously receive feedback and

getting other people's' inputs, why take on the burden when you can share it
will be amazed at the things you can learn from people you least expect. Once you

get to know me you will find I'm quite bubbly and always excited about prospecting

events and projects. I like to keep busy, I'm not very good at sitting on my hands for

very long, I'm always itching to go and explore a new place or at least sketch a

new project out.
