About me

Hi, I currently work at Zoopla as Design Systems Lead on the Bricks design system. It supports theming for multiple business units under the parent company Houseful: Alto, Hometrack, Prime Location, Prime Location Luxe and Zoopla. Having created a design token token system and built the figma component library, alongside some product design tasks the bulk of my role now is in maintenance, improvement and expansion of the tokens and components within design and code. Other key elements of my time is in documentation and working with designers and developers to promote adoption of our design system and helping to find design solutions that can use existing patterns or help define new ones.

Prior to that I worked as Principal Product Designer for Auto Trader UK. Having previously built and maintained the 'consumer-brand' Sketch library, we then, at the end of 2019 made the transition to Figma.
Throughout 2020 I built a new consumer brand Figma design library in a new refreshed brand style whilst in tandem reworking all product landing pages in the refreshed style.
My day-to-day between design library maintenance and improvements included product page design and collaboration with other designers, developers, content design, and product managers to help define how the brand was integrated across the site.
