About me
I've been a journalist since 1992 - on newspapers, then in a freelance capacity on magazines. Since graduating with a BSc in physics, I've been - among other things - a local news reporter, an arts writer/critic, a features editor, a travel writer, a production editor on B2B mags and, during the noughties, Tatler's favourite freelance sub.
In 2010, I joined Ink Publishing's CNBC Business magazine as its freelance (and only) sub. I also wrote for it: you can find the pdfs on my website. During my two years there, I frequently rewrote and reworked features, many of them from contributors who spoke English as a second language. These days, I tend to work a lot on financial publications.
All in all, I'm a bit of an information sponge, what with the science background, the 65+ countries I've visited, my wide-ranging interest in the arts and all the subbing I've done.
