I was excited to see the position of Graphic Designer advertised on creativepool and therefore submit my application. I believe that my skills and experience closely match those outlined in your job description and I am certain that I could continue to achieve the high standard of design set within an established environment. I am confident that my passion for creative design combined with my overall experience makes me a natural candidate for the advertised position.

Currently I work as a Senior Graphic Designer for one of the top sports publishing companies in the country. I am the principal designer and coordinator for Premiership Rugby, Gloucester Rugby and Worcester Warriors. My main responsibility is to design their matchday programmes throughout the season but I also produce a variety of artwork for advertising and online purposes.

I have experience in managing and leading a group of designers and have successfully taken on the role of Head of Rugby, which involves me creating new artwork and templates which I then project manage and oversee there implementation. I have excellent working relationships with all the media managers, PR managers and editors I work in collaboration with. Clients frequently report positive feedback to my Creative Director and production manager and my services have been requested by a number of clubs for the future season. I have been told that I have excellent organisational skills, an ability to work well under pressure, a keen eye for detail and a flair for producing fresh ideas to fit a variety of briefs.

I would relish the opportunity to work in an environment which would allow me to fulfill my potential. I am eager to move ahead in my career and improve my skills and experience at an established global company.
