About me

I completed a three-year (BA Honors) Degree in Graphic Arts and Design at Leeds Metropolitan University a year last summer and have been working at UYR design just outside Leeds for 17 months now. I have found my time so far at UYR very beneficial and have very quickly become more confident and experienced in various programs and processes and seeing a job through from the initial stages through to print. I am looking for a job within a design company where I am able to build relationships and understanding with clients. Within my current position I have done this with great success, however I want to work on longer-term projects where one is able to generate finesse within a project and where I have greater design freedom. As a person I see my self as very motivated and driven to achieving tasks and goals, I also carry this across into my design work. I am primarily a print based designer with most of my work consisting of work strongly driven by image and illustration. I am very passionate about typography and photography, which is reflected in my work. My experience at UYR has developed my capability to learn very quickly, which I feel is important in such a fast moving industry, but I feel that I have a lot more to offer to the design world.
