About me

Having obtained a degree in Design & Art Direction at Manchester University, I spent 5 years in various job roles outside of design gaining skills in many areas of Administration, Sales and Customer Services. In this time I also worked as a Freelance Designer which demanded that I keep up to date with current trends and programs. For the past 4 years I have worked as a Graphic Designer working primarily in Digital Advertising and my current job title is Design and Art Room Manager. Being trained as an Art Director I have purposely made it a goal to learn and develop skills in most areas of design and multimedia. I have good to excellent traditional Illustration skills that I'm not afraid to combine with digital illustration skills should I feel it necessary. In my job roles I have used Photshop, Illustrator, After Effects & Flash to create animated commercials and interactive touch screen advertising to be displayed on Widescreen TV's & Touchscreen Panels. I have also worked on DVD's with interactive menus and basic website construction. My goal currently is to work on interactive flash websites as I would like to improve in this area.
